Summertime in Dallas

Rise Souffle n°1

Soufflés, soufflés, soufflés! Have it savory or sweet? No, have both — which is what we decided to do and tried the amazing Truffled Infused Mushroom, Herb & Spicy Sausage, and Grand Marnier Soufflés. A must try in Dallas, as our friend recommended, for this fluffy, light, yet satisfyingly filling dish(es). Oh, and don’t forget to start with Marshmallow Soup #ItsSoFluffyImGonnaDie #BaguetteGuillotinesAreFun I was also thoroughly obsessed with their beautiful collection of dish and glassware.

Pecan Lodge

No matter how early you go, you gotta wait on the line — but at least it helps on deciding on what you’d like to indulge yourself in... The Brisket melts in your mouth, basically there is pretty much #NoEffort! I mean just look at the shine and the gleam on the meat! The Mac & Cheese, Coleslaw, Rolls along with the Collard Greens are highly recommended, too. Drooling while I write type these words out… #SoGood

Emporium Pies

I’ve never enjoyed a slice of pie so much even though I’m #TeamCake. We’ve tried the Basic Beach: super-creamy-and-velvety and the Drunken Nut: chewy-yet-crunchy goodness-es.

Steel City Pops

Fruity popsicles are the best for summers, especially Dallas summers. We strolled around the park enjoying the refreshing Peach and Strawberry popsicles.

Bear Bay Seafood Kitchen

Crawfish. Scallops. Snow Crabs. Corn. Seasoned Fries. Tsingtao Beers. Bear Bay Seafood Kitchen is probably one of my favorite cajun seafood places I’ve ever been to — being that the sauce wasn’t too salty or too spicy, just the right amount of everything.
