State Bird Provisions

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA

Definitely worth the 2 hour wait! This restaurant reminded me of Momofuku Mà Pêche in NYC, where you are able to choose whatever is on the menu as well as having the option to pick out specials of the day as the chefs made their rounds around the restaurant. If only we were able to try everything here! All the dishes were so unique but our favorite part of the meal was definitely the dessert. #SweetTooth

The Progress

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA

We took a little pit stop before our dinner for some drinks and appetizers. It was a lovely bar / restaurant, just a few steps away from State Bird Provisions (sister restaurants). My mom and I were both thrilled to see the Red Beet Tartare on the menu because we both love beets - and it was sooooooo good. #TeamBeets!

Humphry Slocombe

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA

I get my sweet tooth from my mom, so it's no surprise that we were determined to try as much as new and SF unique ice cream shops as possible. Our first stop was at Humphry Slocombe in the Ferry Building Market!

Bi-Rite Creamery

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA

The next day, our stop was at Bi-Rite Creamery. I was glad to to see that there wasn't a long line this time around

Fog Harbor Fish House

While exploring around Pier 37, we found a lovely seafood restaurant to try for lunch, with a view.

Japanese Tea Garden

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA

The Japanese Tea Garden was my mom's favorite part of the trip! You'd imagine why because there were so many beautiful flowers, plants, trees, and scenery, all while enjoying some tea and treats!

Tartine Bakery

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

Of course, ice cream is not our only favorite sweets! My mom and I were able to enjoy our last day in San Francisco at the famous Tartine Bakery. We started off with some delicious iced coffee, and then some Morning Bun!

Beverly Soon Tofu

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

I took my parents here, because we had already went to BCD so many times before in New York. Damn, we all thought BCD Tofu House was a pretty great soondubu (순두부) restaurant, but Beverly SoonTofu really takes the cake! I mean just look at that sizzle, and the combination with the kalbi just made everything so much better!
