Wrapping up Summer ☀️

BIN 220
Super cute wine bar in FiDi, filled with a beautiful wall of wines, liquor and more. I loved their menus and its packaging/design of the menu.

Recommendations:
Fell in love with the "Nutella Panini"

MILK BAR
At last, I have tried this goodness and it surely lived up to its hype and fame. The "Cereal Milk Soft Serve." Its' saltiness from the Cornflake Crunch with the creamy sweetness of the ice cream all mixed together really well. I may have enjoyed this a bit more than the "Crack Pie."

Recommedations:
"Milk Cereal", "Blueberry Cookie" Soft Serve and "Crack Pie"

UMAMI BURGER
This is my favorite burger joint, yet. I know I'm not even close to trying all the "best" burger joints in New York (or obviously the whole world) but truly truly truly, this has to be one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. The "truffled aioli / truffle glaze" sauce, cheese, and meat were all perfection. And the the "Thin Fries" with their 4 sauces were just magical. Oh, and the dessert too!

Recommendations:
"The Truffle Burger" and "The Thin Fries"

DOMINIQUE ANSEL BAKERY
No Cronuts?! Of course there wasn't. Ever since the hype, although I have never really attempted to go get one for myself (you know, wait on a reeeeeally long line at 8AM to get these goods, but half the time, you won't be able to because it's sold out before you even got to the cashier), yet I had hope. However, it was 4 in the afternoon, after a brief walk through in Soho, my friends and I found ourselves wanting to try something new, something sweet. So you know how this story ends, no "Cronuts" or no "Cookie Shots" but, we did manage to find something sweet.

Recommendations:
If you have a big sweet tooth like me, I'm sure you can handle the "Frozen Smores." It contains some crispy chocolate that were covered with vanilla ice cream inside the very gooey frozen and torched marshmallow! Both my friends definitely recommend "The Madeimoiselle," which contained lavender and honey, creamy and cold, perfect for a super hot day!

PARKER QUINN
A gem in Midtown West! The food is delicious, with perfect portions. Not only that, the service was so great (only the back side of the restaurant). This may be my go-to-spot in Midtown; although, it's super busy during after work hours, they have a great list of beers and drinks.

Recommendations:
The "Tagliatelle" (lamb ragu, parmigiano-reggiano, black truffle, rosemary) was perfectly savory and perfectly cooked. The lamb melted in your mouth. The "Stuffed Peppers," maybe a bit salty, was delicious too! The "Mac & Cheese" had the perfect amount of cheese with some crunch on top. Oh and the "Rustic Apple Tart a la Mode"  was heavenly!

LADY M
I believe that if I can have cake everyday, especially the "Green Tea Milles Crepes Cake", my life would be complete.

Recommendations:
Of course the "Green Tea Milles Crepes Cake"

SOBA TOTTO
This place is known for their Sea Urchin Sobas. Unfortunately, the day that my friend and I visited, they are all sold out of it. BUT... everything happens for a reason, right? I ended up trying the Soba with curry and pork/chicken and it was super heavenly (*note: the dish I tried was pretty big in portion. I usually have no problem finishing my meal, but the richness of the curry and the full plate of soba was a bit too much for one sitting).

Recommendations:
"Tsuke Kamo Curry" and "Ikura Soba"

CURRY-YA
The curry place that makes just as good curry as my ma!

Recommendations:
"Dry Curry" and "Berkshire Pork Katsu Curry"

MELT SHOP
Grilled Cheese. Who doesn't want the ooey-gooey-cheesey goodness?

Recommendations:
"Classic Grilled Cheese"

NIU NOODLE HOUSE
We came in for the noodles but we ended up with dim sums. We conquered all three lunch box sets (3 boxes for each of us, 9 sets of dim sums).

Recommendations:
"Pork Soup Dumplings", "Hong Kong Style Steamed Roast Pork Buns", "Spring Rolls", "Scallion Pancakes", and "Crabmeat & Pork Soup Dumplings"

'WICHCRAFT
My boss said this place was a helluva sandwich place. I am now a firm believer, and now preach and spread love about the "Roasted Turkey Sandwich" (think avocado, bacon, onion relish, aioli on ciabatta roll #drooooool). One of my favorite places to go for lunch in New York City!

Recommendations:
"Roasted Turkey Sandwich"

LUKE'S LOBSTER
I've always loved lobster rolls, but not in the way I love Luke's Lobster Roll. The lobster is fresh, the bread is fluffy and chewy (perfect for a roll), and it is truly appetizing... I drool every time I talk about the Luke's (or even thinking about it... drooling right now actually). I definitely want to see if Red Hook's Lobster Pound can outshine Luke's though, I've heard and seen lots of great reviews about it. *Shoutout to Christine for my first ever Luke's Lobster! #Can'tGoBack #Ever

Recommendation:
"The Noah's Arc" - if you want to try a little bit of everything (lobster, crab, and shrimp), I suggest you get this, especially to share with a friend.  Oh, don't forget the "Blueberry Soda" #Must
